About EikaAI
Banking in Scandinavia is efficient, digital and trusted. It is also fundamentally passive. EikaAI exists to change that: a banking experience that understands a customer's finances well enough to act in their interest, delivered with the security and restraint the Nordic market expects.
Leadership

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Edvard founded EikaAI on a conviction formed over a career spent inside Scandinavian banking: the industry had solved distribution and digitisation, but had stopped short of intelligence. Customers were given faster access to their own data without ever being given judgement about it.
His work sits at the intersection of retail banking economics and applied machine learning, an unusual combination in a market where the two disciplines rarely share a room. That perspective shapes how EikaAI is built: model quality is treated as a product decision, and regulatory constraint is treated as a design input rather than an obstacle.
He leads the company from Oslo, where EikaAI is being built alongside the institutions and regulators it is designed to work with.

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer
Geoffrey co-founded EikaAI and leads engineering. He owns the decisions that determine whether the company's regulatory ambitions survive contact with production: how customer data is modelled, how model output is made explainable, and how the settlement layer records what it did and why.
His working principle is that a financial system has to stay inspectable as it grows. In a supervised market, reconstructing why a decision was made matters as much as making a good decision, and that property is far cheaper to design in at the start than to retrofit under audit.
He builds the platform from Oslo, close enough to the institutions EikaAI intends to serve that their constraints reach the engineering team directly rather than second hand.
Scandinavia has the highest digital banking adoption in the world and the infrastructure to match. What it lacks is a bank that reasons about money on the customer's behalf rather than simply reporting it.
PSD2 and the Nordic open banking mandate turned account data into an addressable surface. We treat compliance as a moat: everything we build is designed to be auditable from the first commit.
Reasoning models can now hold a customer's full financial context and act on it reliably. The constraint was never demand for personalised banking. It was the cost of delivering it to everyone.
Every recommendation is explainable and traceable to its source. We do not ship advice a customer cannot interrogate.
Built in Oslo for Norwegian, Swedish and Danish customers, on local rails and local expectations of privacy.
Data minimisation, encryption and access control are structural decisions, not features added before an audit.
